2018 North Kiteboarding Bars and chicken loop customization… WTF?!

New for 2018, North Kiteboarding is letting you customize your chicken loop with three separate options.
All bars are sold without chicken loop and you need to add one of the following:
– Freeride option.
– Freestyle option.
– Wave riding option with rope slider.

Customization is good but it comes at a price!
The 2018 North Trust Bar, with 24m lines retails at 460 USD and this is for the bar only!
You have to add 69, 79 or 89 USD depending on the option you choose, the freestyle kit being the more expensive.
– Freeride kit: 69 USD
– Freestyle kit: 89 USD
– Rope harness kit: 79 USD
So here we are, for a full freestyle setup, you will have to pay 549 USD!!
If you fancy going with the 2018 North Click Bar, the bar only retails at 630 USD, so the complete freestyle setup will take you at 719 USD.

For 2018 the excellent Trust Bar has some new features while retaining some of the superior functionality that makes this one of the best 4 line bars on the market. The chicken loops this year come in three different options; when you purchase your bar, you can choose the chicken loop that best suits your riding style. The industry leading Iron Heart IV safety system makes a welcome return; it has been enhanced with the addition of the Suicide Ring III.
